About Us
The chorus at Arlington Middle is offered to students who have a passion for singing. Throughout the school year students will sing a variety of music. They will learn proper posture, breathing technique, and basic music theory. There are at least two concerts (at the end of each semester) per school year. Attendance at the concert is required. Unexcused absences will lower your grade.
Students entering 6th grade may sign up in the Spring of their 5th grade year or when registering in August. Students entering 7th and 8th grade may be subjected to a basic audition. Additional auditions may be necessary for solos or being accepted into the Honor Chorus in January. Students who make All-West do not need to audition for Honor Chorus. |
